Shirley Hausler Obituary
Born on December 6, 1944, to the late Edward Lee and Mary (Lee) Hough. Shirley was the beloved wife of 60 years to Paul "Jake" Hausler, Jr.
Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother that loved the Lord Jesus. Her love for the Lord shined by the way she loved and cared for others and her generosity never unwavering. She never turned down a chance to help others in their time of need and jumped to help when you didn't even ask. She made friends easily and children adored her. Everywhere she went, children were attracted to her for her gentleness and love. She lived her life reflecting God's love.
Surviving in addition to he husband are daughter Misti Lovell (David); son Michael Hausler (Sheri); granddaughters Katie Jamison (Grant), Jessica Short (Justin), Jennifer Wiles (fiancee Andrew Lohr); great grandchildren Jordan Zimmerman, River Farrar, Willow Farrar, Josie Short, Jase Short, and Luke Lohr; brother David Lee (Sissy); sister Susan Trapaso (Tony); nieces Lori Jones, Kendel Wood, and Mandy Trapaso; and grand nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by brother Charles Hough.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 23, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Bethel UMC, 14110 Stottlemeyer Rd., Smithsburg, MD 21783. Interment will be private.
