Mrs. Shirley Ann Myers, 63, of 1354 Mount Pleasant Road, Fayetteville, Pa., died Tuesday, April 17, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
She was the wife of D. Elwood Myers, whom she married Jan. 2, 1987. Her first husband was John F. Bacigaluppi Jr. of Lakeland, Fla.
Born May 16, 1937, in Washington, she was a daughter of the late Eric and Martha Kans Waldow.
Mrs. Myers was a member of Orrstown Church of the Brethren in Christ, Orrstown, Pa.
She enjoyed cooking and crocheting, and making crafts.
She had been employed as a stockroom clerk at JCPenney.
Surviving in addition to her husband are four children, Ric Bacigaluppi of Frederick, Donna Smith and husband Kenny of Thurmont, Debra May Bacigaluppi of Philadelphia, and Ley Favorite and husband Tony of Thurmont; one stepson, Curtis L. Myers and wife Linda of Chambersburg, Pa.; 10 grandchildren, Amanda Bacigaluppi and Christian Bacigaluppi, both of Frederick, Chad Dewees, Branndi Dewees, Kendall Smith, Brittany Favorite and Ashley Favorite, all of Thurmont, and Joseph Bacigaluppi, Erica Irvin and Mandalynn Winterstein, all of Philadelphia; 10 brothers and sisters, Eric Waldow of Camp Springs, Alice Amaya of Whitter, Calif., Margaret Slusser of Monrovia, Winnie Payne of Thurmont, Carl Waldow of Emmitsburg, Joseph Gobbertt and Robert Gobbertt, both of Maryland, Billy Foster of Hagerstown, John Foster of Deerfield Beach, Fla., and Tootie Mcguire of Cavetown; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by one stepbrother, Charlie Foster; and her stepmother, Lena Waldow.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at Robert E. Dailey & Son Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St., Thurmont.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the funeral home, with Mrs. Myers' pastor, the Rev. Robert P. Conway, officiating.
Interment will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery, Thurmont.
