Yesterday

My father John Baumgardner dearly loved his sister Virginia, as did I and my sister and brother. Following the passing of their parents (my grandparents) Aunt Virginia was the glue that continued most firmly to bind us. Always warm and inviting, gracious and interested in what we did and our spouses and children, Virginia meant so much to me. Donald put the electricity in houses; Virginia put love in every house. Even from the distance of my own career in law and finance in NYC. Aunt Virginia was a tether to our long family history and affection that I deeply valued and shall never forget. -John Baumgardner, Jr.

Mrs. Wantz almost made it to 90. Just shy by about a week. I have many fond moments of her as a teachers aide at Taneytown Elementary. Back in the day I knew David, Mary and Dennis and Virginia and Glen well. Mrs. Wantz had a good run. Prayers for the Family that she enjoyed cooking for. George Reaver
