Stephen Robinson Obituary

Stephen G. Robinson, Sr., 88, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024 at the Wellspan Gettysburg Hospital.

Born October 29, 1935 to the late Nelson James Robinson, Sr. & the late Verta (Steinla) Robinson in Cumberland, Maryland.

Stephen graduated from Fort Hill High School in Cumberland, MD, class of 1954. He was an avid trout fisherman and loved to hunt everything from small game to whitetails. He worked over 40 years as a Pressman at Holladay Tyler Printing Corporation in Rockville, MD until his retirement. In his younger years he worked as a Carpenter and was able to fix anything. He loved playing golf and horseshoes and was exceptionally good at both. Stephen was a member of the Frederick Elks, 684, in Frederick, MD. He was a great father and a great husband to his loving wife, Patricia, with whom he shared 67 years of marriage with.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Honeycutt) Robinson; his children, Stephen Robinson, Jr. (Gina Cabay), Allen Robinson, and Rhonda Robinson; his 3 grandchildren, Kyle, Travis, and Tasha Robinson; 12 great-grandchildren; his brother, Nelson Robinson, Jr.; and his sisters, Margaret Burgess, Linda Athey (Colvin).

He is predeceased by his sister, Rosemary Wagner

There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 2-4PM at the Fairfield Fire Hall, 106 Steelman St, Fairfield, PA 17320.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Stephen's memory to The American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
