Timothy Bowlus Obituary
Born July 3, 1964, in Frederick, Maryland, he was the son of the late Jack S. Bowlus Sr. and Barbara Ann Long Bowlus.
Tim is survived by his sister, Holly Wheeler, and husband, Ken; his sister-in-law, Roseanna "Cissy" Bowlus; and his beloved nieces and nephews, Nathan Wheeler, Payton Wheeler, Brandon Bowlus, and Tricia Flook. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack S. Bowlus Jr.
He will also be fondly remembered by his roommate, Sue, whose friendship and care meant so much to both Tim and his family.
Tim was a member of Chapel Lutheran Church in Frederick, Maryland. He spent most of his career in the hospitality industry. Most recently, he worked as a manager at Holiday Inn Express in Gettysburg.
Tim had a great appreciation for antiques and was known for his cheerful personality-always offering a smile to those around him.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Chapel Lutheran Church, 11109 Daysville Road, Frederick, MD 21701. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made in Tim's name to Chapel Lutheran Church at the address listed above.
Arrangements are entrusted to Hartzler Funeral Home.
