Virginia Boone Obituary
Born July 5, 1925, in Union Bridge, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Anthony and Louise Adeline Young Burton.
She graduated from Elmer A. Wolfe High School in 1943.
She was a member of St. Luke's Winters Lutheran Church, New Windsor.
She was formerly employed with A&P, Westminster, and retired after a disability.
She had resided in the Springfield, Woodsboro, and Annandale areas.
She enjoyed traveling and animals.
She is survived by her former husband, Grafton M. Boone of Mount Airy; three nieces and one nephew.
She will also be remembered by her friend, Betty Fleagle of Annandale.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Frances Coyner.
There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
Inurnment services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, in Parklawn Memorial Cemetery, Rockville.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 839 Quince Orchard Blvd., Suite E. Gaithersburg, Md. 20878.
Arrangements are by Hartzler Funeral Home, Woodsboro.
