Dollie Longbine Obituary
A private burial service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 21, 2014 in Childress Cemetery.
A time of sharing and visiting will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 1 to 2:30 PM at Johnson Funeral Home, 307 Ave C NW.
Dollie was born Wednesday, June 16, 1920 in Childress County,TX to Charles T. and Jimmie Elizabeth (Lee) Scott.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. Her family was her pride and joy, and she loved spending time with them. She loved to cook, and was a Christian woman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Lane Longbine; her parents; a son, Jimmy Longbine; four brothers, Bud, Bill, James and Johnnie B. Scott; and a sister, Mable Claire Hightower.
Survivors include:
Son - Johnny Longbine and wife, Paula, Childress, TX
Son - Andy Longbine and wife, Linda, Bridgeport, TX
Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.

Dollie was a sweet lady to me. I know how much she loved all of you! It's always hard to give them up cause we're human & selfish, but at least she's not suffering! I'm sorry I won't be in town Sat.,but know you're in my thoughts & prayers! Love you all, A,L,J,P & all the family! Gid bless all of you!
