William Dentinger Obituary
Born on August 2, 1960, in Lincoln, NE, he was the son of the late William F. Dentinger and Patricia Ann (Kline) Dentinger.
Bill grew up in Urbana, MD and graduated from Frederick High School as Salutatorian and the Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maryland.
He was an avid sports fan who rarely missed a sporting event of his niece and nephew as they were growing up. He had a love for black labrador retrievers and always had one as his companion.
Bill was a successful engineering executive in the telecommunications and big data marketing spaces. He was brilliant in his professional capability of combining the logical skills of an engineer with the personable, empathetic skills required for product sales and support. One of his greatest engineering achievements is a remote access and testing system still deployed throughout many telecommunications companies today.
He is survived by his brother, Mark Dentinger and wife, Sandy; niece, Courtney Prygocki and husband, Nick; nephew, Dustin Dentinger; and great-niece, Kaylynn Prygocki.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 11:00 am on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, with a funeral service to begin at 11:00 am. Rev. Tim May will officiate.
Interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
