Andrew Little Obituary

Andrew Lee "Andy" Little

Andrew Lee "Andy" Little, 65, of Fredericksburg passed away on Tuesday, November 9th at Mary Washington Hospital surrounded by his devoted family.

Andy was born in Charlestown, WV and raised in Fredericksburg, VA. He graduated from Stafford High School in 1974.

Andy was the epitome of a dedicated and hard-working family man. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren fiercely with every part of his being. He also adored his dog, Tucker, lovingly nicknamed "Tuck." He was a longstanding member of the United Methodist church and a trustee at New Hope United Methodist in Stafford County. One of the things he loved most was to sing in the church choir. He spent his life surrounded by family, friends, music, and blue crabs. He found great joy tending to his plants and garden.

Survivors include his wife, Julie Janette Little; children Aimee Leigh Little Wooldridge and Jennifer Marie Stoner; son-in-law Travis Stoner; stepchildren Ashley Ellsworth, husband Brad Ellsworth, and Ben Wood, partner Kana Zinc; grandchildren Christopher, Kyla, Lukas, Wesley, Jackson, Alexander, Colton, and Abigail; siblings Paula Zerbe, husband Chris Zerbe, Patrick Little, and sister-in-law Lorrie Little; nieces Zoe Zerbe and Devon Mathers, and nephew Zachary Zerbe; and mother to his children Deborah Little. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Vivan and Dorothy Bush; parents Mark and Dorothy Little; his brother, Joey Little; and his niece Krista Little.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 14th at Covenant Funeral Service in Fredericksburg, VA. A private church service for family will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church.

I was very sad to hear of Andy passing away. He was a long time friend and a great guy. We grew up together in Ferry Farm, played football for the F F Presidents and went to school together. At F F Elem,Andy and I along with 4 other guys formed quite a group. We called ourselves the Funnys, and each of us had special nicknames. Andy was Zorro.
After we finished school I was lucky years later every week to see Andy thru work when he worked for Wilson Brothers.
My condolences to the Little family.
