Anthony N. Farrell
Anthony N. "Tony" Farrell, 84, of Ruther Glen died Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond.
Born in Pennsylvania, he was a World War II veteran.
His memory will be cherished by his family, which includes his wife, June M. Farrell; two daughters, Lynn Mowry of Annapolis, Md., and Jan Kosek of Pittsburgh; three brothers, Dan Farrell of Pittsburgh, Lou Farrell of California, and Larry Farrell; two sisters, Nancy Whitley of Harrisburg, Pa., and Ann Himber of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at St. Mary of the Annunciation, 10306 Ladysmith Road, Ruther Glen, Va. 22546. Burial with military honors will follow at Quantico National Cemetery at 2 p.m.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, at Storke Funeral Home, 111 South Main Street, Bowling Green.
