Charlotte Parrish Obituary
Charlotte was the last born of Howard P. Jett, Sr. and Iva Sullivan Jett's nine children. She is survived by her husband, Wayne; sons, Raymond (Wanda) and Michael (Lisa); granddaughter, Miranda; brother, Lindsey G. Jett; sister, Joyce J. Armstrong, and many nieces and nephews.
Charlotte was a graduate of Stafford High School ('61), the Grace Hospital School of Nursing ('64). She held Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Virginia. She worked at Mary Washington Hospital for many years and went on to senior management positions in two Richmond hospitals.
Charlotte and Wayne retired to Chesapeake Bay living in Heathsville in 2007 and enjoyed years of boating, fishing, crabbing and their oyster and vegetable gardens before returning to Fredericksburg to be near their sons. She was an active participant in Fairfields Methodist Church in Burgess where a memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association at their web site.

Charlotte was a very strong intelligent Nurse! We graduated from Grace Hospital together and she was a force of nature and a dear friend. I miss her everyday for her wit, insight and compassion. There will never be another Charlotte! My deepest sympathy to Wayne and her family! Rest in peace my dear friend!!
