Donna Lucas-Hill

Donna Lucas Hill, age 53, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2020 at Mary Washington Hospital after a long battle with cancer. She fought the "good fight." Donna was born February 18, 1967 to the late Robert and Helen Lucas of Colonial Beach, Virginia.

Donna loved her family and enjoyed spending time with friends and family while getting out to enjoy cookouts and shopping. She was employed as a Custodian with the King George County School System. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband, Walter Hill Sr. ("Billy") three children, her daughter, Britanny Dorsey (Gary), sons, Devan and Walter Hill Jr. (BJ) all of Dahlgren, Va.

She is also survived by a granddaughter, Faith and seven sisters and 3 brothers. Helena Jacobs (Tyrone), Monica Rosier (Zach), Manya Ball, Leona "Margo" Lucas, Julie Lucas, Debbie Lucas and Addie Lucas. Brothers, Robert Lucas Jr, Lonnie Lucas and Larry Lucas.

Father-in-Law, Walter Lee, Brother-in-Law, Jeffery Hill (Scottie) and three Sister-in-Laws, Tina Thomas, Lynette Jones and Brenda Padmore all of Maryland.

She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held for her at a later date.

Losing a loved one is one the most difficult task in life, we have to face. Wefeel the heartache of their passing, tears of grief, feelings of remorse and the inability to understand the reasoning of why. But with all of this grief bestowed upon us we understand what it means to say goodbye. We are only saying goodbye for now, for sure our souls will meet again in the land where there is no more worrying, sickness, tears nor heartache. So for now cousin you take your heavenly rest but be assure we will meet again and oh what a wonderful time that will be. And to her beloved husband and her children and Granddaughter, her sisters and brothers, you all have our deepest sympathy and we pray that God provide each and everyone of you with the strength and comfort needed to make it thru this storm. Just remember Donna as the warm loving person she was and hold on to the precious memories you had together. She will be greatly missed. Our prayers and sympathy are with you all.
