Julian C. Bly Sr.
Julian C. Bly Sr., 75, of Fredericksburg died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, at Mary Washington Hospital. He was the widower of Laverne Skinner Bly and the owner of Julian C. Bly Co. Inc.
Mr. Bly was a member of Sumerduck Primitive Baptist Church and Elks Lodge 875.
Survivors include a son, Julian C. Bly Jr. of Fredericksburg; a daughter, Vickie Tittermary of Richmond; a half sister, Annie Mae Bennett of Manassas; a half brother, George Heflin of Orange; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, with the Rev. Randy Newsome officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Fredericksburg Rescue Squad, Box 444, Fredericksburg, Va. 22404.
