Linda Marie Jones, 68, of Fredericksburg, VA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 26, 2025.
A viewing will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, 200 Butternut Drive, Fredericksburg, VA, 22408, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m., and one hour before the funeral service. A funeral service will be held at Blessed Hope Baptist Church, 2311 Ford Avenue, Richmond, VA, 23223, on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 11 a.m. The interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Lane, Richmond, VA, 23222, at 1 p.m.

Your mother was truly beautiful—inside and out—and it is clear that her love, strength, and grace live on through you. The care, devotion, and support you gave her, especially when she needed you most, is something to be deeply proud of. I know she could not have asked for better daughters, and she is surely smiling down on you from heaven.
May her light continue to shine through your words, your laughter, your love, and your lives. May you feel her presence guiding and comforting you as you adjust to this new chapter. She will forever be your mother—and now, your guardian angel.

I am so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. My husband, Nelson worked with her at the National Bank and always liked and respected Linda’s professionalism.
