Marcia Hibben Obituary

Marcia Elizabeth Hibben

September 13, 1951 - December 4, 2025

Marcia Elizabeth Hibben went to be with the Lord December 4, 2025, at her home in Falmouth.

Marcia was born in Germany on September 13, 1951, as her father was in the Airforce, and later moved to Fredericksburg. She graduated from James Monroe High School in 1969, and later from Virginia Commonwealth University.

In her earlier years she moved to Georgia where she was an executive assistant at America Home Key. In 2010 she moved back to Virginia and was employed by MCCS at Quantico until her retirement in 2022. She was happily retired enjoying craft projects, collecting Christmas ornaments, watching British TV series, listening to the music of the Phantom of the Opera, and tending to her two kitties. She loved British history and 1960's music.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Herbert Hibbon and Helen Hibben. She is survived by her sister, Laura Echevarria; brother, William H. Hibben, and her close friend from high school, Judith C. Truslow.

There will be a Celebration of Life on December 20, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the home of Gaynelle and Courtney Scott.Donations in her memorial may be made to The Fredericksburg SPCA https://fredspca.org/donate/
