Matthew Grimes Obituary
Matthew R. Grimes
Matthew R. Grimes, 76, of Fredericksburg died Friday, Sept. 24, 2004, at Mary Washington Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ellis Grimes; and his mother, Rebecca Payne-Grimes.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Marie C. Brown of Spotsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, at A.L. Bennett Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Lawrence Davies will give the eulogy, and the Rev. Albert Jackson will officiate. The burial will be at Glen Haven Memorial Garden in Stafford. The remains may be viewed from 1 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 28, at A.L. Bennett Funeral Home.
