Nancy Withers Obituary
August 18, 1923 - October 27, 2025
Nancy T. Withers passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 102 at Woodmont Nursing Center. She was born on August 18, 1923, to Adrian and Florence Truslow. Nancy worked for many years at her sister's photography studio, Colony Studios in Fredericksburg.
She married Noble A. Withers, and together they built a home on Truslow Road and lived happily until Noble's death in 2006. Nancy loved nothing more than being with her large family and friends, especially at her annual 4th of July picnic and the Christmas Day get-together.
Nancy was a member of Hulls Memorial Baptist Church and was in attendance every Sunday until her health worsened.
She is survived by a sister, Page Schrum; nephew, Jonathan A. Truslow, whom she thought of as her son, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noble A. Withers; and her siblings, Harriet Truslow, Pete Truslow, Dorothy Simpson, Jane Edwards, and Noble "Blue" Truslow.
Nancy will always be remembered for her love of family, friends, and God.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Hulls Memorial Cemetery with her nephew, Thomas Simpson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hulls Memorial Baptist Church.
