Richard Jones Obituary
Richard T. Jones Sr.
Richard Thomas Jones Sr., 69, of Stafford County passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at his residence.
Survivors include his sons, Richard Thomas Jones Jr. and wife Robin, Robert L. "Bobby" Jones and wife Lisa and Edward Milton Jones and fiancee Sheila; daughters Patricia "Patty" Scott and husband Rufus, Vernettia "Louise" Amos and husband Danny and Julia Charlene Jones; former wife Joyce Jones; brother John Jones; sister Elizabeth Bedwell; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sarah Jones; brother Robert Jones; and sisters Bertie Shifflett, Betty Bostic and B.A. Jones.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 1, at Covenant Funeral Service, Lee Chapel.
A service will be held at noon Tuesday, April 2, at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Stonewall Memory Gardens.
