Roberta L. Clift
Roberta Leathers Clift, 73, of Stafford County died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was employed by Mary Washington Hospital for 15 years and was an active member of Canaan's Faith Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Clift; her parents, Chester and Jessie Leathers; and two grandsons, Trey Parvin and Michael Armstrong.
Survivors include her two sons, Rodney Clift and his wife, Amanda, of Fredericksburg and James Mike Jenkins of Spotsylvania County; her daughter, Mary Parvin and her husband, Rudy, of Culpeper County; two brothers, Leroy Leathers of Syria and Chester Leathers of Brightwood; four sisters, Betty Edwards of Culpeper, Gloria Knighting of Syria, Anna Waugh of Reva and Virginia Bell-Dodson of Madison County; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and someone she loved as a daughter, Ann Rose.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Covenant Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Tim Dobson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at the funeral home. She loved and was loved by all.
