Ronald Hooe Obituary
Ronald Gary Hooe, 77, departed this world on Thursday, November 21, 2024, surrounded by his stepchildren. Ronnie, a new year's baby, was born January 1, 1947, to Hansbrough and Alberta Hooe of Fredericksburg, VA.
Ronnie dedicated many years to the automotive industry, a lifelong passion that defined much of his work and joy. He owned and operated Hooe's Automotive in Stafford, VA, drove a rollback for the auto auction, and restored countless classic vehicles. He also founded the iconic Ho Ho Land in Stafford, VA, a beloved local tradition.
Ronnie was first married to Martha, with whom he shared a loving son, Kevin. Both Martha and Kevin preceded him in death. Later in life, Ronnie found love again and married Angie, who also sadly preceded him in passing. Ronnie was happiest when surrounded by family, working on cars, attending auto events, and celebrating the Christmas season.
He is survived by his three stepchildren, Brandon, Allison, and Ryan Leake; and niece, Marty Aaron. He was preceded in death by his father, Hansbrough Hooe; mother, Alberta Hill Hooe; brother, Hansbrough "Dike" Hooe; his first wife, Martha Hooe; their son, Kevin Hooe; and his second wife, Angie Hooe.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

I would like to extend my condolences to the family of Ronald Hooe. I did not know him personally, but made many visits to enjoy the beauty of Ho Ho land. He brought so much cheer to children and grown ups as well with his beautiful display.
