Scott Houk Obituary

Scott Thomas Houk, 21, passed away the evening of Monday, March 23, 2015, in Fredericksburg.

Scott was born on Dec. 27, 1993. He graduated from Mountain View High School in 2012 and was a junior at The University of Mary Washington. He was a talented actor, a witty improvisational comedian, an expert on all things Spiderman and a gamer who spent many hours engaged in the craft.

He will be greatly missed by his parents, John and Tammy; his brother, Robbie; his sister, Sarah; grandparents John and Helen Mooney; his uncle and aunt, Chris and Lea Ann Eanes; his cousins, Brian and Brandon Eanes; his cat, Rascal; new puppy Maddy; and countless friends and fans.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sara Deeds Mooney, who named him before she passed; and his paternal grandparents, John and Mary Louise Houk.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on at 4 p.m. Friday, March 27, at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Services, 186 Shelton Shop Road in Stafford. All friends and family are invited to attend in casual attire.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Mountain View High School Drama Department, 2135 Mountain View Road, Stafford, VA 22556.
