Just found out about Teel´s passing! What a wonderful and funny man. He was a blessing to Orange County and city. Prayers going out to Linda, our friend, and his wife of many years. Sad that Teel could not attend Spencer´s graduation in person. Teel was certainly there in spirit. Joe Crain will hold fort with Teel until we can join them again.

I remember warmly the times just hanging out with Teel and the "gang." Teel never waivered in his good humor and generosity. He was a kind soul and magnificent friend. My prayers to Linda and Spencer.

We could always count on Teel to be the adult in the room. Passionate in his beliefs and always ready to talk. Our designated driver. A true brother and a friend. He will be missed.

My cousin Teel was a very intelligent man who loved Orange County and helping it's citizens. We had fun growing up with all the Newman family gatherings. Teel was always easy going and liked to think things out. He fought the evil cancer for a long time but never complained.
RIP dear Teel, you are now reunited with Jane, Billy, and Sally. No longer in pain or suffering...we will miss you!
Bring comfort and peace to Linda and Spencer

Teel was a classmate at Grymes, and even then he was a kind and considerate and had a great sense of humor. He was a natural leader. Deep sympathy to his family.

I am so sorry to hear about Teel. My husband and I were his friends in college (W&M) and beyond. Teel attended our fraternity reunions and we loved catching up with him and hearing updates on his life and family in Orange. Teel had a great sense of humor, and was a gentleman always. We, and all his fraternity family, will miss him terribly, and think of him with love.

Orange county lost a darn good man. I worked with Teel when he was at Goodwin Bros. Very easy going person. He would do anything that he was capable of to help someone. Teel got along with everyone around him. I can go on and on but Teel, you're gonna be deeply missed man, by a LOT of people.

One thing I loved about Teel was his ability to listen to understand. He was a true brother. He will be sorely missed.

Teel was very much loved by his friends at The College of William and Mary. He really valued long-term relationships and always had a great smile for everyone despite all he was going through. Sending my thoughts to you.

We learn so much about what people did with their lives from their obits, but the light he brought to people´s lives shone brightly from the time we knew him at W&M through the end of his life. My condolences to all who loved him.

Deepest Sympathy to all the family. He was an outstanding person and will be deeply missed by everyone. He was my boss at Goodwin Bros. until they closed and I then went to American Wood mark. Many years of working for him. A great person!!
