David Deiter Obituary
A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 14, at Lighthouse Fellowship Chapel in Harper, with interment following in the Noxville Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 12-1 p.m. Monday at the church.
Deiter was born June 24, 1967, in San Antonio, the son of Chester Dwaine Deiter and Zane Parker Deiter.
He is survived by his wife, Oksana Trokhymchuck Deiter; daughter, Kyryl Trokhymchuck; mother, Zane Parker Deiter, and sister, Patti Benitez.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorials may be made to Lighthouse Fellowship Chapel, Noxville Cemetery or charity of choice.

David stood next to me at High School graduation. Lofe tooks us different directions, so I have not seen him since. We had mutual areas of contact, so I heard he was an EMT. So sad to hear today's news.

I was deeply saddened when I heard about David aka "Big Dave's" passing. I had the privilege of working with David as a hospital RN for many years. He possessed incredible critical nursing skills from his long healthcare career. His pre nursing career included many years as a paramedic and American Heart Association certified Instructor. If David could not get the IV started, nobody could. In the rare instance we had a patient emergency, it was comforting to know David was there to assist. I will always remember him as a smart, funny and overall great guy with the biggest heart. He dearly loved his family, Dodge Ram Trucks, South Park, a good buffet, the color blue, Heavy Metal Music, sweet tea and teasing Cowboys fans every time they would lose a game. To David's family, may cherished memories of David bring you comfort to help you through this very difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers. David my friend you left us way too soon! I will miss you!

Oh, how Im going to miss Big Dave! Whether at work or playing in Mando's garage band, Dave had the biggest heart of 'em all! Always joking around! I hope everyone that worked with him got to see this big boy play those drums....man, could the guy jam! I miss you already!

Almost three years ago to the day, I became a widow. Shortly before Tyler and I were parted from this life, he heard my singing voice and told me he couldn´t wait to hear more. Tyler died and I went silent.
It was Dave who reached out and put me in front of a microphone. I´m a simple person with no musical training. I have him to thank for his patience during lessons with my still broken heart. I have him to thank for getting me in the studio to write and record songs. I have him to thank for believing in me so much that he bought me a special microphone to help speed up my learning curve in the presence of lifelong experienced musicians. His impact on my life is nothing short of being a superhero... and I can see him rolling his eyes for calling him that.
I´m going to miss you, Dave and if it wasn´t for the people you introduced me to, I wouldn´t have that rescue dog, who often rescues me.
