David John Fullbrook

1933 - 2022

David John Fullbrook, 89 of Fredericksburg, Texas died Monday August 22nd, 2022.



David was born May 12, 1933 in Wokingham, England, he is the son of Charles and Joan Fullbrook. He proudly served in the Royal Airforce. He married Jill Bailey and raised two daughters, Kim and Dawn. After 20 years with Radyne, an induction heating company known throughout England and Europe, David immigrated to Vancouver, Canada in 1979 to start his second life working with his brother in real estate development. He worked on projects in Atlanta, Denver, Oklahoma City and Austin.



While working on a project in Austin he met Gwen. They married in 1984 and their son Nicholas was born in 1988. They worked together in the bed and breakfast business and real estate development for over 34 years.



David was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Joan Fullbrook, as well as his brothers Victor and Michael Fullbrook.



David is survived by his wife Gwen Fullbrook of Fredericksburg; his brother John and his wife Leigh Fullbrook of Vancouver/Costa Rica, his daughters Kim Holmes and her husband Chris, and Dawn Scott and her husband John, both of England; His son Nicholas Fullbrook and wife Victoria of San Marcos. He is also survived by five grandchildren (Sam, Jack, and Charlie Holmes and Daniel and Bethany Scott of England) and two great grandchildren (Isaac Holmes and Max Scott of England).



A private burial was held on Wednesday August 24th, 2022 at Greenwood Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday September 4th, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church located at 1800 North Llano St.
