Joseph Adamowicz Obituary

Joseph John Adamowicz

Joseph John Adamowicz was called by the Lord on November 15, 2020, at the age of 87. Born in Hamtramck, Michigan; Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant from 1951 up until his military retirement in 1971. He then continued his career to also retire from Chrysler. While stationed in England he met and married his beloved bride, Jill (nee Marshall, predeceased) and enjoyed over 60 years together. Joe was involved with Boy Scouts with his sons, spent many summers at his family cottage in Gladwin and enjoy many years of flying model airplanes. A devoted father of Joan (Thomas) Saferian, John, Jim (Suzanne) and Jean (Patrick) Cherry. Cherished grandchildren: Victoria, Kyle, Jimmy, Taylor and Joey. In state Saturday, December 12th 9:30 AM until the 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. John XXIII Church 12100 Beech Daly Rd., Redford, MI. (Covid-19 limit of 45) Interment and military honors will be held at a later date in the spring of 2021. Memorial donations suggested to AngelaHospice.org.
