JOSEPH BLAISE February 3, 1960 to March 28, 2017. Survived by daughter, Anne (Taji); granddaughter, Alexis; siblings, Greg (John), Margaux, Monica (Chris), and Mary (John); nieces and nephews, Jada, Blaise, Chris, and Jake (Wendy). Services are Saturday, April 8th at St. Barbara's, 13534 Colson, Dearborn 48126, 8:30 a.m.-11 a.m. followed by a Memorial celebration at GiGi's Cafe, 16920 W. Warren Ave., Detroit, MI 48228.

I am so sorry for your loss - I sure did love that face, and even after all these years we still talk about him & the wonderful friend he was. Like today, we were reminiscing, like so many other times & while doing so did a search to see "what ever happened to Joe?" and this time it finally generated enough to find out. We were young and we were wild, but he was always a great friend! Rest In Peace Joe!

So sorry to hear of joe' S passing, we hung out as preteens he was a very smart and handsome guy, Megan Welch and I were always together with Joe from 7th thru 9th grade...then I moved to Ann Arbor and lost touch...RIP old friend!

I was roommates with Joe during his semester at EMU in 1978. He was a creative and fun loving guy and I don't think that EMU was the scene for him. I lost track of him when he left at the end of the semester, but his picture jumped out at me from the obituary page and I am sad to hear of his passing. May his family find peace in their memories of this one of a kind person.

My friends and neighbors always raved on how he could beautify our appearance by giving us an updated and creative hairstyle. His creativity and expertise in the hairstyling industry can not be forgotten.
