Larry Bagans Obituary
Grosse Ile - Bagans, Larry, age 71, December 13, 2018 of Grosse Ile. Beloved husband of Mary Jo. Dearest son of the late Clarence and Grace Bagans. Devoted father of Zak Bagans, Meredith (Mike) Mixer and their children Morgan and Maddox, Nathan (Amy) Schaffer and their children Isabella and Jace; Mylissa (Jake) Myers and their children Madison and Noah; Janine (Dave) Ptak and their children Aylish, Blair and Bethany; Karen (Tony) Diana. Cherished brother of Marlene (Bill) Fisher and the late Martha Black. Dear brother-in-law of Tony, Lora and Sue. Fun-loving Uncle of Aaron, Lisa, Danny, Sarah, Emily, Anthony, Jack, Gabrielle and Eric. Great uncle of Gaaron, Greyson and Ellie. Larry attended Sacred Heart Catholic grade school and Grosse Ile High School. He graduated from Western Michigan University and was a passionate Bronco. He was proud of his 41 year career with the Quaker Oats division of PepsiCo and as one of the top salesmen was awarded the 2003 Ring of Honor. Larry was kindhearted and had the remarkable ability to make everyone feel special and important. He was loved by all who knew him. Visitation, Thursday 3-9 PM, with a Vigil Service and time of sharing at 6 PM at the Trenton chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd, Trenton. Larry will lie in state Friday, Dec. 21, 2018 from 9:30 AM until funeral Mass, 10 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 21599 Parke Lane, Grosse Ile. Interment Grosse Ile Memorial Cemetery. Flowers are welcomed and contributions in memory of Larry's life may be made to Michigan Medicine-Rogel Cancer Center Fund for Discovery. Visit his tribute at www.martenson.com

I´m sorry for the loss of your dad.
I´m grateful to still have both my parents with me. My older brother tragically passed away in December of 2010. I know how much it hurts to lose a loved one but not a parent.

I am deeply sorry for the loss of your Father Larry Bagans. I lost my Mom, Dana on June 20th, 2020, and my Great Grandpa Peter on August 28th, 2020. I've lost many many people, even a little brother, one thing you know is there's a new guardian angel on your side. My brother comes from time to time just to remind me he's protecting me.
