MARILYN JEANNE Passed away July 28, 2016 at age 74. Resident of Troy for 45 years. Avid tennis player. Retired teacher from Hazel Park. Member of Troy Historical Society. Beloved wife of Jim for 52 years. Loving mother of Laura Bahnmiller (Jim), James (Stephanie) and Daniel (Stephanie). Devoted grandmother of Shanda Kramer (Brandon), Patricia, and Joslynn. Sister of the late Clark Miller. Aunt of Brian, Bruce, Paul, David, Tim, and Joel. Family will receive friends Thursday 4-6 p.m. with Funeral Service at 6 p.m. at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road (Between Maple and Big Beaver), 248-362-2500. In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial tributes to the Troy Historical Society.

My deepest sympathy to Marilyn's family. She and I were sorority sisters at Wayne State University. I remember her as always smiling and as being the calmest person around.
