Betty Ann Noerenberg, 93, of Ithaca, NE, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 20, 1930, in Prague, NE, to Henry and Myrtle (McCauley) Roumph. She attended Duck Creek country school and graduated from Cedar Bluffs High School in 1947. Before retiring she worked at the Onion Plant in Wahoo and the Campbell Soup Plant in Fremont. She was united in marriage to Marvin Noerenberg on August 1, 1975, in Ithaca.
She helped Marvin with farm work and enjoyed taking care of her animals and tending to her flowers.
Betty is survived by her husband, Marvin Noerenberg; children, Stephen (Kathy) Schere, Gregg (Toni) Schere, Pamela (Larry) Skinner; grandchildren, Stephen (Julie) Schere II, Sara (Rafael) Morales, Laine (Chris) Neal, Geoffrey Schere; great-grandchildren, Liam Neal, Vivian Schere, Brie Neal; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Penny Carlson; infant daughter, Jacquline Schere; parents; six brothers; five sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Private family inurnment at Union Cemetery, Malmo, NE.
