Brian Miller, 38, of Columbus died Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha.
Brian Lee Miller was born Dec. 11, 1975, in Fremont to Patrick and Denise (Burns) Miller. Brian received his education at Columbus Public Schools. He worked construction for a majority of his career and was currently employed at Bierman Contracting as a steel foreman. Brian married the love of his life and best friend, Melanie Foulk, on Sept. 29, 2012, at the Eagles Club in Columbus. Brian loved fishing, the New York Yankees, Penn State football, and cheering against Nebraska. Brian always had time for his family and friends and will always be remembered for his crooked smile. He is survived by: his wife, Melanie Miller of Columbus; daughters, Sabrina Cyza of Shelby and Taylor Bruce of Columbus; sons, Zachary and Brandon Bruce of Columbus; parents, Pat and Denise Miller of Columbus; brother, Randy (Brenda) Miller of Columbus; sisters, Christina (Richard) Leffers of Columbus and Amber (Tim Rockford) Miller of Columbus; mother-in-law, Kathy Leitschuck of Columbus; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by all of his grandparents.
The memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1470 24th Ave., in Columbus with the Rev. Patrick Sparling officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Brian Miller Cancer Fund in care of Pinnacle Bank in Columbus.
