Bruce C. Doran, 55, of Fremont died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003, at his home.
He was born May 14, 1947, in Seattle and was raised there. He entered the U.S. Army in 1966 and served until 1971. He was a paratrooper and received the Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster and the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster while serving in Vietnam. He moved to Fremont in 1998.
Survivors include: a daughter, Tiffany Doran of Fremont; a son, Sean Doran; his mother, Shirley Doran of Seattle; a sister, Charlotte Stark of Tuscon, Ariz.; a brother, Keith Doran of Tacoma, Wash.; and a grandchild.
There will be no services.
Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
