March 21, 1959 -- June 22, 2017
FREMONT -- Denise A. Depue "Mama Bear," 58, of Fremont entered in to heaven Thursday, June 22, 2017, at the Omaha Methodist Hospital.
Denise was born March 21, 1959, to Lawrence and Sharon Limbach (Richey). She was a 1977 graduate of Fremont Senior High School in Fremont.
Denise was recently employed at Fremont Head Start as a transportation coordinator. She loved and enjoyed working with the children there and her Head Start family.
She was an active member of the First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school, helped with Wednesday night Kids Klub, Vacation Bible School, and served on several committees. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her husband, Doug, going to the Goodwill, but what she cherished the most was spending time with her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memories are husband, Doug; mother, Sharon Richey, Fremont; sons, Robert (Ange) Bates, Bryan Bates and Stephanie Vance, Paul (Kaitlin) Bates of Omaha; daughter, Sabrina Depue of Fremont; brothers, Keith (Stacy) Limbach, Greg (Lena) Limbach, Darren (Shannon) Limbach, all of California; sister, Renee (Bill) Mikan of Fremont; grandchildren, Bennett, Larissa, Quinn and Blake Bates of Omaha, Jaylah Panek of Lincoln, Dane Sass of Fremont, Jesse and Adam of Omaha; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Denise was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Limbach.
A celebration of Denise's life will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 30, at First Baptist Church in Fremont. There is no visitation.
Those attending please wear the colors of pink or purple, two of Denise's favorite colors. Denise's favorite season was the fall time, she loved the trees changing color, she will be laid to rest under an Autumn Blaze Maple tree. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church or the family.
