Jacqueline K. Lupton, 67, of Cedar Bluffs died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at Fremont Area Medical Center.
She was born June 11, 1944, in Milford to Robert and Doris (Urban) Vitamvas. She moved to Linwood at a young age. Then shortly after moved to Cedar Bluffs and attended school there. Jacqueline worked at Campbell Soup Company in Fremont from 1969 to 1975. She then worked as a kitchen coordinator for Memorial Hospital of Dodge County, currently known as Fremont Area Medical Center, from 1981 until retiring Jan. 7, 2011. She enjoyed planting flowers, caring for pets and watching her grandchildren.
Jacqueline Kay Vitamvas married David Hoppmann in 1960. They later divorced. She then married William J. Lupton on April 4, 1975, in Fremont, and they later divorced.
She is survived by her son, James Hoppmann of Cedar Bluffs; four daughters, Lori (and husband, Timothy) Roumph of Cedar Bluffs, DeAnn (and husband, David) Varilek of Fremont, Tami Janda of Elkhorn and Lisa Lupton of Cedar Bluffs; best friend, Ellen Andrews of Fremont; seven grandchildren, T.J. (and special friend, Ashley Line and daughter Charlotte), Zach and Connor Roumph, Ashley, Alexa and Austin Conklin and Jaymeson Lupton; and great-grandchild, Josslyn Conklin.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont with the Rev. Mark Weber officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Cedar Bluffs with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time Wednesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, south of Cedar Bluffs.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be designated at a later date.
