Keith M. "Bub" Roumph
February 2, 1949 – February 10, 2021
Keith M. "Bub" Roumph, 72, of Fremont, Nebraska, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021, at his home.
Keith was born Feb. 2, 1949, in Fremont to Keith and Lorene (Zrust) Roumph. He graduated from Archbishop Bergan High School in Fremont in 1967. After high school, Keith attended Northwest Missouri State for 2 years. Keith married Jackie Morrissey on Nov. 13, 1970, and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Keith was a general contractor throughout his life. He built homes and did construction work in the Fremont area for the last 50 years. Keith was a mentor and teacher to his grandchildren and others throughout the years. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont and a member of the Calvary Cemetery Board for 20 years.
Keith is survived by his wife, Jackie Roumph of Fremont; son, Eric (Renee) Roumph of Wahoo, Nebraska; daughter, Amanda (Jeremy) Smutz of Fremont; brothers, Tim (Lori) Roumph of Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska, and Allen Roumph and special friend Teri Sarr of Fremont; sisters, Patricia (Bob) Fiedler and Leann Roumph, both of Fremont; six grandchildren, Austin, Trenton, and Aspen Smutz, Aiden, Catherine, and Benjamin Roumph; and several nieces and nephews.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents; and infant brother, Kenneth Roumph.
The Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Patrick Catholic Church with a Rosary said at 7 p.m. following the visitation at the church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Fremont.
Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont.
