Sammi J. Osterlund
December 26, 1952 – January 10, 2022
Sammi J. Osterlund, age 69, of Fremont, Nebraska, passed away Monday, Jan. 10, 2022, at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont.
Sammi was born Dec. 26, 1952, in Carroll, Iowa, to Louis and Mary Margaret (Higgins) Osterlund. She grew up at Vail, Iowa, lived in Omaha, Nebraska, and finally Fremont, Nebraska, for over 40 years. She worked in the shipping department at Hormel in Fremont for 37 years.
She was a Chicago Cub fanatic and also enjoyed going to the horse races and was very lucky Larry said.
Survived by significant other, Larry Pullen of Fremont; stepmother, Pat Osterlund of Vail, Iowa; brothers, Robert (Christine) Osterlund of Lawrence, Kansas, and Chris Osterlund of Carroll, Iowa; and sister, Marilyn Swanson of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Steven Osterlund.
A Celebration of Life service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.
Memorials to the family for a fund yet to be determined.
