ADAM CHRISTOPHER MULLIGAN Thank you, God, for bringing Adam into our world. His time here was well spent; he brought so many great memories into the lives of so many people. Adam Christopher Mulligan, 20, died peacefully, surrounded by his parents, his brother, his family and friends on May 1, 2003, the result of an accident. He was in his sophomore year at Reedley College, taking premed courses, and was serving as a student ambassador. His kind, outgoing personality made him friends of students and teachers. Adam will be remembered by all who knew him for his wonderful sense of humor and sweet, mischievous nature. His adventurous spirit led him to travel throughout the U.S. and abroad. He attended Duke University for a summer session He visited England, Wales, Ireland and he recently enjoyed a trip to Belize with his family. Wherever Adam went he was loved by all, especially by his identical twin brother Scan He and his brother loved sports, especially football and also played for the Fresno Rugby Team. Adam was a kind and loving person who was a regular blood donor, and whose generous spirit will continue to live on through the donation of organs. Adam is survived by his parents, Joe and Michele Mulligan; his twin brother, Sean, of Selma; his grandparents, Gloria McCarthy of Tulare, and Fred and Alice Mulligan of Selma. Mom (Lotte Streit) and I would like to express our deepest sympathy at the loss of your son. The McCarthy family lived in Hawarden and I grew up with Teresa until they moved to California. Michelle, you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.... Take comfort in the Lord.

Adam was one of the most caring and kind-hearted people that I have ever met. He was intelligent, hardworking, and so full of life. I feel honored, as I am sure many do, to have been one of his friends growing up. My prayers are with him and his family.

Adam,

Even though I didn't get to know you personally, and always got confused by calling you Sean, you were a great friend and treated everyone with respect. The class of 2001 and everyone else will always miss you and have you in our hearts...

Dearest Adam and family. Last nights service was so beautiful. I was amazed at the number of people who attended. I never knew exactly how many people were touched by Adams short presence. Adam, you and I became friends your freshman year at Selma High, and I had the privilege of cheering for you and your brother at football games. Im glad that we kept in touch even after High School. You were such a ball of joy, and your smile will forever be remembered. Thanxs for the memories buddy! Miss u, love you! Until then...

Adam was a new friend of mine, but I felt as if I had known him forever. I just met him this semester at Reedley College. He was the very first person to introduce himself to me. It made me feel special. Over the past few months Adam kind of became like lil brother to me.... I will miss him dearly.....

Adam Mulligan was the kindest, most easiest guy to get along with I knew. He had a wonderful sense of humor that could make you laugh anytime, even when you were down. And if you were down, he would be there to talk to you about your problems. For that, I thank you Adam. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Mulligan family.

I loved Adam Mulligan dearly, there are only a few others i loved more than him. We came up together in high school, battled on the football together, spent numerous weekends together, I will forever remember him, just like everyone else who has signed this book. Know that Jesus Saves, and Adam confessed Jesus as his savior, so he is in paradise. God Bless you and keep you, and continue to pray for the Mulligan Family, and also keep all of Adams friend's in your prayers.

Thanks Adam, for being the first to introduce me to mountain oysters. I will never forget that sparkle in your eyes and that grin on your face as you described to me what they were as I chewed with my mouth full. I will miss our chats in the office about pre-med classes and what the future held. Yes, you would have made an excellent physician.

Though I did not know Adam personally I was sadden to hear of his passing. I was happy to be able to help You to find Your way to the Army Base for Your appointment. Though I did not know You I felt like I did just from seeing You and Family at St. Joseph's Church. I am sure You would of made a Fine Soldier in the Army but now You are a Soldier in Our Heavans. My Prayers Our with Your Parents and Brother. God Bless You Until We Meet Again..

Adam was a very good friend of mine. He is truly a unique and loving person. I will always miss him. No one could ever make me laugh like he could. I will always miss his smile and his cheerful personality. Adam was always looking out for everyone and he always put others before himself. He was such a good person and I know he is still looking down on us from heaven. He is now and will always be such an angel. I am so glad that I got the chance to know such a wonderful person such as Adam. I love you and will always remember you!

I knew Adam from when i was a little kid. I used to go out to his house out in the country and go swimming all day with him. He was a very adventurous and fun guy. Always upbeat, and smiling. He was one of the best people i have ever gotten to know. I'll never forget Adam, he was my bro.

Adam will never be forgottin in my eyes. We shared so many great memories and had lots of fun hanging out together. When ever i was with Adam there was always laughter. Adam and Sean were my big body guards they were both always there for me. If i ever needed anything i knew i can count on them and they would never let me down. A part of my heart is empathy now but that is because Adam will never be forgotton and always be apart of me.

ADAM I LOVE YOU TO DEATH BUD AND I'M REALLY GOING TO MISS U!!!:(

I forgot to add this when i wrote an entry earlier....... I wrote it when i found out he had passed

For one of my "Brothers"

It would be easier to live with out the very breath I breath,

It would be easier to live with out the light that guides me. Yet I can’t live with out you here

I ask how can a tree grow with out light?

Or how could a flower grow with out dirt?

I would love to try to live with out your smile in my life,

But every piece of my soul would die.

I would rather live with out air

With out sight, without the very beat of my torn heart, than not to have you here.

How can I live with out you?

How can I grow with out your light?

How can I smile with out your laughter ?

How can I say good -bye and let you go?

Although I never had the privilege of meeting Adam in person, I knew him through photos and updates over the years from his mother - my childhood friend. The pride, love, and excitement his parents shared with me about Adam's life said it all. My heart goes out to you Michele, Joe and Sean, and to your entire family and friends whose hearts have been touched by having him in your lives. He will surely be missed.

I will always remember, what I liked to call them, "The Terrible Twosome" at our softball games.. Adam was only five or six at the time and what a character. He was a part of the team in more ways than one... I will miss him dearly.

I will always remember Adam as that little munchkin that was one of the first to get dirty at Baseball parties. He always made me laugh and will never be forgotten. All my love to the family!
