Allen Blanton Means, Jr.
March 2, 1945 - December 25, 2022
Clovis, California - Allen "Bo" Blanton Means, Jr., 77, of Clovis, CA passed away this past Christmas evening having battled advanced COPD for the last few years.
He was born in Texas on March 2,1945. After completing high school, he enlisted in the Navy at 17 years old. Having traveled to foreign countries such as Newfoundland and France during his term, he thus earned his membership in the VFW. After college, he worked in the construction industry 46 years as a superintendent completing several notable accomplishments.
He is survived by his brother, Larry Means and sisters, Becky Thompson and Debi Bartlett, his son, Allen Means lll, daughter, Christina Lee, by his wife, Sue Means and their two children, Matt and Lauren Means and several grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at the Clovis Veteran's Memorial District from 11am to 3pm on January 15, 2023 with a viewing the night before between 4pm-8pm at Boice Funeral Home in Clovis.
