News Death Notice
RUSSELL, Anna Lee age 86, of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Hospice of Hamilton. Anna is the beloved wife of Edward Russell, they were married in Wilmington, OH on January 16, 1946. The children of this union are; Rev. Charles E. (Kathie) Russell of Cincinnati, the late Thomas J. Russell, of Theodore, AL, Timothy J. (Kathie) Russell, Hamilton, and Constance L. (Darryl) Ross of Milford. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and her daughter in law Cindy Russell. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jacob E. and Mary Ethel (nee Briggs) Vance, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Anna retired from Fairfield Local Schools where she was a secretary, she was also a member of the American Baptist Women. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Immanuel at Lakewood Baptist Church, 4008 Westwood Northern Blvd. Cincinnati, OH, 45211. Her son the Reverend Charles E. Russell officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, December 1, 2011 at The Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014 from 5-7 p.m. Condolences may be given at www.avancefuneralhome.com

I knew an during my membership at Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a remarkable woman. She will be truly missed. My prayer go out to Ed, Charles and the rest of the Russell and Immanuel @ Lakewood Church families.

russell family, I am so sorry for this loss, but i know it is bittersweet. although we still want her here, we rejoice in knowing she is with her lord. sending love & prayers for strength.

I got the pleasure of servering Ann at the Waterford, only knew her for a short time but, I knew that she was sweet and nice. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and paryers are with you Ed and family. She will be greatly missed by all.
