Barbara Ann Mazzoni

BARBARA ANN (BAIR) MAZZONI

Barbara, age 73, was born to Harold Andrew and Mary Alice Bair on August 17, 1932, and passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 7, 2005, with family at her side. Barbara and her husband, Bruce Mazzoni celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2005. Their children and grandchildren blessed them with a special party on Saturday, December 3, 2005, with family and friends in attendance. Barbara received her nursing diploma from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in San Francisco. She was employed at St. Agnes Medical Center for 35 years before retiring in 1994. She worked ten years for the late William John Frye M.D. during her nursing career in Fresno. Barbara was a very caring, loving, and supportive person. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. "Mom" was special to everyone that met her. She touched many lives during her time on this earth. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Andrew and Mary Alice Bair; sister, Arlene Bair Goggin; and brother, Jack Bair. She is survived by Bruce Mazzoni, her husband of 50 years; son, Mark Mazzoni of Britt, IA and children Derek and Megan; daughter, Terri Flaherty and her husband Bob, and daughters, Mollie and Andrea; daughter, Sherri Mosher and her husband Steve, and daughters, Robyn Martin and Kelli Mosher; son, Michael Mazzoni and his wife Diane, and children, Michael Jr., Julia, Matthew and Carlo. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at Farewell Funeral Service on Sunday, December 11, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Monday, December 12, 2005, at 9:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to Hinds Hospice, St. Agnes Medical Center, St. Anthony's Church Building Fund, San Joaquin Memorial High School, or the donor's favorite charity.
