4 Years have passed since the last time I saw you, and the empty pit in my heart from the loss of you will always be there. I miss you more than words can explain. Everyone is doing fine but I just wish you could be there to see us as we get older. I cannot be selfish and wish that you were here because it is obvious that God had a plan for you. I cannot begin to thank you for every single little thing you have done for me. I was young and naive and may have said things to you that were downright unwarranted. I cannot go back in time and apologize for every single one of those actions, but if I could I would. I would do it because it would I mean I'd get a little longer of time to spend with you. You were an amazing mother who had her own internal battles but I was always there for you. Every car ride that I went with you on was worth it. I would not go back and change a thing about that, but as I am typing this for you, I want you to know that I will always love you for the things you did for me and my brothers, either alive or gone. God bless you, mom. I promise you I will do the things that you would have asked me to do as I get older and mature.

I just hope my sister knows how much I love and miss her. I know she is in a better place no more pain. She took care of me and helped me with all the annoying questions a little brother could ask. All I can ask is that someday my family will be reunited. I will never forget you Barbara I love you.

It has been 2 years since you passed and we all miss you. You were a great aunt and I could always count on you to help me when I needed it. You looked out for me at work and always believed in me and that I could achieve great things. Thank you for everything. Miss you Baba. Love, your nephew, Jason.

Do not mourn me.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
I am and will always be with you.
Whatever we were to each other,
we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way
which you always used.
Put no difference in your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word
that it always was.
Let it be spoken without affect,
without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same that it ever was.
There is absolutely unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you,
for an interval,
somewhere very near,
just around the corner.
All is well.

I miss you. I was googleing your name and this site popped up. It is very touching to read all of the beautiful entry's everyone has written. GOD IS GREAT and I know that you know that now more than ever. It is amazing to see how GOD has been working through this situation, but I am sure you can see how much closer we are to him now because of this. We LOVE YOU and PRAISE THE LORD for allowing all the time he gave us with you.

To the Saldivar and Jimenez families: I went to high school with Barbara. I am very saddened to hear of her passing. We didn't really keep in touch after school, but I did see here a couples of times, and it was always wonderful to talk with her again. I will keep Barbara and her family in my prayers.

The Creator Feels for You. Know first that God did not want Barbara to die. God does not take delight even in the destruction of the wicked let alone the death of our loved ones. Clearly, then, God does not want any of his intelligent creatures to die.
When God’s Kingdom rules without opposition over this earth, millions of children will be resurrected and welcomed back from the dead.
Like the parents whose children Jesus resurrected back to life in the first century C.E., many then will be “beside themselves with great ecstasy.”
And when all mankind is at last restored to the perfect state that Adam and Eve lost, then never again will anyone die—our loved ones included!

Barbara ,
Barbara my friend, I cannot believe thatyou have passed. I remember how you cared and loved your family so dearly. I remember when they were little and you would hug and kiss them so dearly, oh my boys as you would say they are my life. I remember how we used to laugh and laugh about life's silly stuff and work. Barbara, you are in gods hands and remember, that I will be thinking of you and remembering our conversations and again, our heartful and silly times as good friends.
Your long time friend

To the family: My heart goes out to you during this difficult time. Barbara was such an amazing and brilliant person who will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her, but especially by our work group. She was a joy to be around and not just because she made us laugh, which she did often. She was incredibly smart, caring, and always there when we needed her. As our hearts break with yours, know that you will continuously be in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you always.

Thanks for everything, mom. I'm sad I never got to tell you how appreciative I am of everything you've got the family in my life, and was sad to not muster up the heart to tell you in your state at the hospital. I love you, and my brothers do too. Goodbye, and we'll miss you deeply.
