Bonnie Simonian Obituary

Bonnie Simonian
March 19, 1948 - February 12, 2023
Fresno, California - Bonnie Ann Simonian, age 74, Fresno, CA, passed away on February 12, 2023 after her short battle with cancer. Bonnie was born in Pasadena, Texas. Her parents, Beatrice and Theodore Hahn were surprised to welcome twins; Bebe and Bonnie Hahn on March 19, 1948. At age 4, her family moved to Ojai, California. Bonnie loved to surf and play sports. She set many records at her high school. After graduating Nordhoff High in 1966, she attended Fresno State where she met her husband, Dennis Simonian. They married November 21st, 1970 and had three daughters; Stacy, Kimberly, and Ashley. Together they ran their family business, Simonian Farms. Bonnie worked at the family farm 7 days a week until the day she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in November 2022; however, she never skipped a day without seeing her girls and grandchildren. Aside from Bonnie's immense love and dedication to her family and grandchildren, Bonnie also had a passion for riding her Harley Davidson and rode on the infamous Route 66 Highway and all the way to Yellowstone National Park. Her nickname and Motorcycle Harley plates read "BONDOG". Family was Bonnie's main joy in life, she always put them first and loved her grandchildren; Mason, Mikayla, Alexis, Kaylianna, Taelyn, Blake, and Tori-Bonnie along with son-in-laws Mike Marini and Jordan Hunter. She was also a loving auntie to nieces and nephews. Bonnie will always be remembered for her strength, dedication, dignity, grit, and sense of humor. She was the matriarch and glue of her family, but leaves behind a legacy of immense love. She will be forever loved and truly missed by all.

Just got this sad news of Bonnie's passing. Bonnie and I ran the Simonian Farms Mid-Valley Whizz-In for several years in the early 1990's. Her generosity and connections made this event the success it was. She knew just what to do and how to get things done! I am deeply saddened by her passing-my condolences to Dennis and the 'girls'!

Deepest Condolences, Regrets & Loving Hugs To Dennis, Daughters & Their Families, Bebe & Her Family and The Many Extended Family Members & Countless Friends. Bonnie & Dennis lived on my mail route in college apartments adjacent to the Fresno State campus in the late 1960s & always admired her for her warm, caring, kind & energetic personality and her Bubbly Beauty. She and Dennis were a perfect & attractive couple who´s energy knew no bounds and Simonian Farms is a testament to their amazing team work ethic. They became my favorite college community friends and was most blessed for having known them. Bonnie was uniquely one of a kind and widely loved by her adoring Family & Friends.

Kim- I don't know if you remember me - Betty Chandler. I'm so sorry about your mother. I know how very close to her you were. She was a wonderful loving caring person and I know she passed those qualities along to you. Remember the love and laughter that you shared at this very difficult time. My sympathies,
