Charlotte Ann (Doumanian) Garcia

July 29, 1936 - July 21, 2024

Gig Harbor, Washington - Charlotte was born on July 29, 1936 to Sarkis and Rose Doumanian of Reedley, CA. She passed away in Gig Harbor, WA on July 21, 2024, 8 days prior to her 88th birthday. Charlotte attended Parlier High School where she excelled academically, was chosen by the student body to be head cheerleader, and played violin in the Fresno-Madera Honor Orchestra. She met the love of her life, Earl Garcia, at Reedley College. They were married on August 25, 1956. In 1963, Earl and Charlotte moved to Caruthers, CA where they farmed for many years.

In 2006, Earl and Charlotte fully retired and moved to Fresno, CA where they enjoyed life like never before until Earl's death in 2016. In 2017, Charlotte moved to Gig Harbor, WA to be with her daughter and family.

Charlotte was a beautiful and amazing woman who always put her family first. Her devotion to the ones she loved was unparalleled. Charlotte's competitive spirit was on full display when she played cards and strategic board games. She always made things interesting and fun with her sense of humor, sarcasm, and strong will.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edward Doumanian; and her husband, Earl. She is survived by her brother, Ray Doumanian (Jackie) of Fresno, CA; son, Rick Garcia (Joan) of Lantana, TX; son, Ron Garcia (Debra) of Port Orchard, WA; daughter, Cindy Johnson (Brad) of Gig Harbor, WA; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Private family services will be held.
