Conrad Johnson Obituary

CONRAD JOHNSON

Conrad was born on March 3, 1915, in Kingsburg, CA, and passed away on Friday, January 27, 2006, at the age of 90, in Fresno, CA. Conrad was a retired City Clerk/Treasurer of Kingsburg. He was also an active member of Kiwanis Club in both Kingsburg and Fresno. He served on the Kingsburg High School Board of Trustees and also the County Schools Advisory Board. He attended Clay Elementary School and graduated from Kingsburg High School in 1933. Conrad was preceded in death by his sister, Helen E. Johnson; and his brother Einar. He is survived by Lillian, his beloved wife of 67 years; daughter, Nancy Dick and her husband Ashley of Fresno; son, Conrad "Bud" Johnson and his wife Glenise; granddaughter Katelyn of Novato, CA; and extended family members. Conrad will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held at Creighton Memorial Chapel on Thursday, February 2, 2006, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Creighton Memorial Chapel in Kingsburg, CA, on Friday, February 3, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Kingsburg Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to First Baptist Church of Kingsburg, 1615 Draper Street, Kingsburg, CA 93631; Northwest Church, 5415 N. West Avenue, Fresno, CA 93711; or St. Agnes Hospice, 1303 E.
