Constance Harrison Obituary

Constance Harrison

September 21, 1933 - September 24, 2024

Fresno, Ca. - For many years Connie was a dedicated teacher and active member of the St. Francis Episcopal Church. She spent her life involved in community charity work wherever she lived. She was in the Women's Army Corps and Nation Chaplain Sacramento Chapter #96.. Connie had just received her 25 year DAV pin.

She and dad were volunteers for the California Citizen-soldier Museum in Old Sac for many years. They were proud to volunteer at the Military Stand Down each year as well as playing Mr. and Mrs. Clause for many community organizations. Her other interests were being a 4-H leader, Seamstress, avid reader of mystery novels and history books. Some loved to watch the Sacramento Kings, and to play Bingo each afternoon. She was delighted to share the unique dolls she created and the stories behind each one. It gave her pleasure that they brought enjoyment to so many people.

A special thank you to the Home Based Primary Care teams from Mather and Fresno VA. As a family we are forever grateful for the kindness and care you gave our mother over the years.

Constance is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Nick Harrison. She is survived by her children, David Baggarly, Donald Baggarly and Kathleen Kuczler, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
