Craig Jue Obituary

CRAIG ALAN JUE

Craig was born on March 29, 1959, in Fresno, CA. He passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2005, at the age of 46 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Craig was a life long resident of Fresno, CA. He attended Homan Elementary School and graduated from Fresno High School in 1977. Upon graduation he completed his Ophthalmic Dispensing Certification from Canada College in San Mateo, CA, earning designation as fellow from the National Academy of Opticianry. He was also a registered contact lens fitter. He returned to Fresno and was employed by Kaiser Permanente for the last 15 years. He excelled in his profession earning top sales awards throughout his career. His patients enjoyed his quick smile, his caring and professional attitude. Craig was an avid golfer and sports fan. He enjoyed cheering for his teams - the Los Angeles Lakers, Saint Louis Rams, and the San Francisco Giants. He had fond memories of attending Giants games with his father. In 1999, he wed the love of his life, Irma R. Fain. Sadly, he passed away one week short of their sixth wedding anniversary. He is survived by his wife Irma; his parents, Wilson and Irene Jue; his sister, Carrie Todd; his niece, Courtney Pinheiro; his grandmother, Mae Tamura; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. We will miss Craig's quick wit, sense of humor, and steadfast loyalty to family, friends, and his wife. In Celebration of Craig's Life, visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Friday, August 26, 2005, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the First Chinese Baptist Church on Saturday, August 27, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. In Craig's honor, remembrances may be made to the First Chinese Baptist Church, Scholarship Fund, 6080 N. Angus, Fresno, CA 93710. STEPHENS & BEAN CHAPEL202 No. Teilman, Fresno (559) 268-9292Lic. #11

I saw him in The Green Berets. First movie that ever made me cry. I wanted to adopt him, and found that I was just one year older than him. He gave a stellar performance in that movie.

To Irma, family, and freinds of Kaiser,

I enjoyed working with Craig for the time that I was in Optical Sales. He was a good guy, well liked, and was a previlage to work with him. He will be missed and it won't be the same with out him.

Sunset in one land is sunrise in another.

When I shall come to the end of my way, When I shall rest at the close of life's day, When "Welcome home" I shall hear Jesus say, O that will be sunrise for me!

My love and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.

Irma, I never met you but you do have my deepest sympathies. I am a fellow red-hatter (54 years of age) and have also lost a husband. My first husband died in 1989 at the age of 39 from a sudden heart attack. I suffered the same sadness and grief that you must be going through. God Bless you and keep you strong. Grace

Both of us made a point to request Craig's services whenever we visited the Kaiser Permanente Optical Department. He was a true professional, as well as a kind and gracious man. He will be missed, but he will also be remembered as a special, honorable man.
