A decade has elapsed since we lost one of the most respected, adored, blessed, and loved men in our community. We still feel the loss as well as the loss of Ron, his partner in life. In our minds, the pipes are still calling . . . . we miss you both. Love and adoration - Chris and Brian

Hard to believe it has been six years and six days since Dan left us. Dan is one of a select few that I/we truly miss. In his absence, there haven't been many days that we haven't thought about Dan. We've missed his presence, smile, sense of humor, and his caring, thoughtful demeanor. Simply put, we miss Dan a lot! Our world isn't the same without him. Life goes on with or without each of us. Do your best to make a difference while you're stil able. Dan did and he was loved and admired for his wonderful, kind, loving soul. If you see Dan before we do, give him a big hug for us and ask him to keep our seats warm till we get there.

Reasons for Love (for Ron):
1) The way you stand by my side
2) The times you make sure nothing will harm me
3) How you always find a new way to "WoW" me
4) When I'm sad, you take the pain away with a joke
5) How you always look deep into my eyes
6) How you can make my heart melt with your smiles
7) The way you hold my hand so tight
8) The way you never let my hands go
8) How you always watched out for me

Oh, Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling; From glen to glen, and and down the mountain side. The summer's gone, and all the flow'rs are dying; 'Tis you, 'Tis you, must go and I must bide.
Dan was well known for his many acts of kindness and generosity. He was one of a very few friends that had a pure heart - and motivated only by his desire to help you in whatever way he could. A private soul, he shunned the spotlight in favor of the shadows. This was especially true of his countless "anonymous" contributions to our community as well as individuals in need of assistance.
Having been there many times himself, he could be relied upon during the good times as well as the lean times. Dan listened to everyone with an open ear and caring heart. And, although he may not have known "exactly" what you were going through, he knew enough to listen, empathize, and most importantly, help in a way that was both needed and appreciated.
Dan will be fondly remembered, not only as a lunch partner, but also as a warm, gregarious, smiling, compassionate, and loving individual. Dan was the strongest link in a huge chain of friends that extended to every border of this wonderful country. A country that he loved regardless of how right or wrong it might have been at any given time. Love it or leave it was his motto and he clearly loved America and it's founding principles.
Dan - we love and miss you and we hope we catch up with you no matter where you are. You and Ron will forever remain in our thoughts and prayers.

I remember Dan as being very loyal, a sharp businessman and incredibly generous for causes he believed in. He was larger than life and knew how to make an entrance--and gave the best bear hugs. I will miss him so...

Dan cared about the people he loved with no hesitation. When my family was in a potential crisis due to some construction in our new home, it was Dan who made sure our home was safe to live in. Thank you Dan for being such as great spirit and you will be missed. Kathy Adams

Dan was one of the best friends I ever had. I didn't get to see him as much when he moved from Walnut Creek, back to Fresno. He really enjoyed life, and was always there to help someone in need. I'll miss you so much Dan.

Oh, Daniel! I will never forget your vivacious grin and non-conformist motivational style. Thank you for being the quiet leader and mentor to me. You will be missed, but always remembered.
