Danny was born on March 30, 1947, and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 14, 2009, after a courageous one and a half year battle with cancer. He was born in Huntington Park, Ca. and lived throughout the state his whole life. He established his permanent residence in Fresno, Ca. where he lived his past 17 years.
Danny served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked as a carpenter and superintendent in construction for the last 45 years. His love for building was evident in his work and meticulous craftsmanship. His last 16 years of employment was with Johnston Contracting, his extended family. He loved traveling, fishing, photography, home improvement projects, and was always working on something at home.
He will be most remembered for his stories, his smile, sense of humor, positive attitude and determination to accomplish whatever he put his mind to.
He is survived by Valerie, his wife of 34 years; his two daughters, Danielle and Michelle and her husband, Cliff Brown; his son, Tristan and his wife Larissa; grandchildren, Bryce, Austin, Terrent, Jeremiah, David, Ashtyn, Otto, and Maison; his parents, Ed and Arlene; sisters, Linda and her husband Wil Goodrich; Gloria and her husband Tony Gentile; brother in law Greg and his wife Carol; and numerous other family members and friends.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of his life will be held at Clovis Hills Community Church, 10590 N. Willow Ave, Clovis, on Saturday, July 25, 2009, at 12:00 p.m.

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you Dan. You are a roll model for my children. You were always positive and showing your smile whenever we would see each other from across the street. You brought courage to a higher level, which my children, Pam and I will always remember. Valerie, there is not any words that make it easier, however I know you will be able to laugh and smile big again (baby steps). You have a very strong family and friends when you need them we will all be here for you. With loving opened arms,
The Pricolo Family,
Chad, Pam, Ethan, Emma and Ellery.

Where to begin. Who would have thought that my job at Pacific Tent & Awning would introduce me to such a wonderful person. Danny is the husband of my co-worker Valerie. They will forever be the most loving couple that I have ever met. His love for photography inspired me and my husband to have him be the one to take our cherished memories for our wedding day.
He was so cool and calm, and his smile just made you relax and be yourself.
Danny you truly have been a blessing in my life, and have touched my soul without a doubt of what a person should be in life.
And to one of my very good friends, almost family at this point - Valeire.
I really miss you at work, and wait the day you return just to have my buddy back. I miss the trouble we create here at work for Mike and Kem!
I really think we need to have lunch together more often.
Hurry back...
Love always,
Jennifer Hollesen
