DOLORES GRAHAM Obituary

Dolores J. Garner Graham fell asleep in the Lord on Sunday, January 14, 2018. She was born on August 25, 1933, in Pasadena, CA. She graduated from Riverdale Joint High School in 1951. Dolores married Virgil Garner on April 21, 1951. They were baptized that same day at the Chowchilla Seventh-day Adventist Church. They were happily married for 27 years. Dolores and Virgil had four children of their own, and also opened their home to her five nieces and nephews. Although Dolores was very busy raising a large family, she always found time to help others and worked various jobs to help make ends meet. After Virgil's passing, Dolores worked for Industrial Indemnity until she retired. During this time, she also raised her grandson Daniel. Dolores remarried in 1997, to James Graham. Her interests included music, playing the piano, singing in the church choir, bowling, laughing and visiting with friends and relatives, and watching game shows. A memorable time for Dolores was when she was a winner on the game show, Name that Tune. She walked away with a number of prizes that she enjoyed for many years. She is survived by her husband James; her children, Laura, David, Martin, and Peggy; her nieces and nephews, Steven, Becky, Cheryl, Doug, and Dennis; her grandson Daniel; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
