EDNA VEEH

Psalm 37:5 "commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." Edna was born on June 28, 1929, in Monroe, SD, and died on Saturday, March 12, 2011, at the age of 81 in Reedley, Ca. The youngest of nine children, she was adored by her older brothers and sisters. Edna moved to Orange County in southern California as a young child. Here she met Norman, the love of her life, as a freshman at Tustin Union High School. After marriage, they resided in Southern California until they moved to Orosi, Ca., to continue in citrus farming. Edna was actively involved in Sequoia Presbyterian Church from its beginning. She was a woman of strong faith and a true 'prayer warrior'. Her love of life also revolved around spending time with family, especially grandchildren. Edna was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a faithful servant of the Lord. She was preceded in death by Norman Veeh, her one and true love, whom she now joins in life eternal. Surviving her are three children, Donna Henry and her husband David, Dennis Veeh and his wife Susie, and Randy Veeh and his wife Karen; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother; two sisters; and one brother-in-law.
