EDWARD "Eddie" JANSEN

Eddie Jansen passed away at home on Monday, July 4, 2016. He was born on February 7, 1941, in Chippewa Falls, WI to Edward G. And Margaret Jansen. Eddie was the oldest of four children. Eddie graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School and shortly after joined the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in March of 1962. He became a butcher for O'neill Meat Co. and later worked for Pacific Boring in construction which he loved. After retiring, his favorite pastimes were working in the yard, reading and being at home with his wife DJ, and his dog Molly. Eddie was preceded in death by his mother and father; and his youngest sister Barbara. He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy; sister, Cheryl Von Skoyc; brother, Michael Jansen; daughter, Tamara Blevins; son, Edward Jansen Jr.; two step-children, Aprile Axsom and Michael Salais; six grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. A Burial will be held at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Santa Nella, CA on August 5, 2016, at 11:30 a.m.
